Inspiration

Before I began my drawings and ideas for this project, I felt it only right for my to create a mood board so that I could outline the feel and styling that I wanted to achieve for my final piece.

With my mood board I created a cute pink checker background, as it reminded me of a picnic sort of feel. I then collected and collaborated images which excite and inspire me. I chose garments which used floral patterns and styled them in an elegant fashion which is what the garden party trend is all about. I also chose more lady like garments which are structured, layered, ruffled and textured in a more exciting way than a plain floral dress. This mood board is definitely my style and I feel that it successfully outlines what I would like my final piece to look like.
